Dynamatted the rear deck and trunk lid. It was the finishing touch after installing an entire system in my 01Maxima SE.For bass I'm bumping a 10" Kicker Comp Sub in a sealed enclosure driven by a 300W amp in the trunk. Before Dynamat - the rattles sounded like crap! After Dynamat, the majority of rattles are gone. I have 2 sheets left over (there's 5 in the trunk kit) so I'm gonna mat the remaining resounding trunk areas to completely cancel out all the rattles - hopefully. Just matting the rear deck and trunk lid - elliminated 90% of trunk rattles. Minor remaining rattles are coming during higher volumes and the bass energy effect on the tail lamp and lic plate areas. Being a bit of a perfectionist audiophile I want all the rattles gone. So far this works great and it looks cool in my trunk!

This sound insulation works great. I have an 06 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL with the 8 speaker Bose system. I installed 2 Kicker Solobaric L7s in the trunk and only to find it sounded horrible because of the massive vibration coming from the entire back end of the car. The subs are so strong that all i heard was vibration from the metal panels. Once i installed the Dynamat the vibration went away. Super easy to install. my license plate still vibrates when i let the subs all the way out but other than that no complaints. Great buy especially on amazon you wont find it cheaper unless you have a "hookup"

Have not really noticed a difference installing this product. Sub still seems to hit the same, and have found other places that rattle. Have noticed that when tapping on the outside of the car, where the dynamat is, it seems to sound more solid and deeper. More likely effective with big subs and expensive systems. I only have one 12" so not a big deal for me.
