I thought I'd be smart and buy a less expensive cartridge for my HP Color LaserJet. I thought that rather than buy a no-name, off-brand I'd go with Xerox thinking I could trust the quality. I was wrong on all counts. The yellow cartridge I purchased is defective, but because I don't use the printer often (though when I do it's for very important, big jobs) I didn't realize the cartridge was not working properly until well after the return window had closed. Without proper yellow saturation, all of my documents, including those that are supposed to be plain black text are purple. Legal contracts in purple. Cute. Almost $90 for a defective cartridge. Not cute.
