I bought two of these speakers to put out at poolside. They don't always work right unless I have them plugged into electricity. Even on a full charge the sound tends to cut in and out. The quality of the sound is poor and the only way you can change it is by changing the sound at the source. I am using my ipod and I've yet to find a mode that sounds good to me. If I have some extra bass then the speakers sound like the sound is coming from the botttom of a barrel and if I have less bass they sound tinny. I will probably use these this summer (my wife would kill me if I bought another set of speakers) and then next year try to sell these and pick up some other speakers. These aren't truly outdoor speakers as the manual says that they sould not be left outside in the rain.

I didn't think it was worth the price. The sound output sounds muffled and the reception gets disrupted once in a while. I had the transmitter only 30 feet away and this was the case. I wouldn't recommend.

this speaker works well. the sound quality is not the best, but it is ok for a single wireless speaker. i would consider buying a second speaker in an attempt to improve sound quality.
