I purchased these headphones and returned them the next day. For some of my music they sounded okay; however, I don't have many songs that really feature the bass, so these headphones were not for me. For much of my music, I felt the focus these headphones place on providing a rich bass caused the mid to upper range, including vocals, to sound muffled. I prefer my music a little more crisp and present. For those whose music can use more bass, these may be the headphones for you, but for me, they weren't.

Update: Headphones are broken almost exactly 3 months after I received them. They were put through no undue abuse. I assume these headphones (and nearly every other contemporary product for sale on this planet) are designed to fail. Now I will research and invest in a higher quality set, though some more expensive headphones have disappointed me in the past. It's too bad, really. I'm sure the V-Moda people have done plenty of research on just how unreliable a product can be before consumers get angry enough to shop elsewhere. Perhaps this company might consider the fact that excessively disposable goods are a serious threat to the health and safety of our little planet. Original Reveiw: These look and sound great. They also stay in my ears when I walk or move about, unlike my ipod headphones. The noise canceling capabilities are high. Even without music playing, I can barely hear people speaking around me. I've been warned that the cord will fray early and easily, though I have been using them for over a month without any sign of trouble.
