VFL-1 Light and Flash - for Camcorders with Hot Shoe

This multi-purpose light slips easily onto the Advanced Accessory Shoe, eliminating the need for additional power or electronic cables. The VFL-1 acts as a video light and turns on and off automatically. As a flash, it can fire automatically or act as a pre-flash to reduce the red-eye effect.

Very useful with the canon HV20.Works fine.It would be interesting if video light was more powerful.For the price, i recommend it.

I've had this light/flash for a while. It's very functional, working as both a flash and spotlight for my Canon Elura, drawing power directly from the shoe. I give it 4/5 stars because the spot light is not terribly bright, but that's good in a way because it doesn't drain the battery as fast.
