This item is not as pictured. It is not an audio cd-rw but a common data cd-rw and will not work in a standalone recorder that requires an audio/music cd-rw.

Frustration
I had never written to a CD before. My computer is about 8 years old. I bought 25 ultraspeed disks, but found that my CD player couldn't write to them only after opening the package and trying one out. I finally bought 25 Imation disks, which did work. Would anyone like to buy 25 ultraspeed CDs, cheap?
Pros: Supposed to be very fast.
Cons: Would not work on my computer..

The One That Works`
I have used many brands of CD-RW's. They all seem to crash after 3 or 4 rewrites. Never did use the Verbatim, beause I have never seen them in the local stores. My son pointed this one out to me on the CompUSA site. Great price, and fast shipping. I have heard that this brand would stand up to the acid test. Well it has, as I am using the same disc over 20 times already, with no signs of giving out. With other brands, they would have been in the round file after less than 5 writes. This Verbatim RW comes with my stamp of approval. I will not use any other brand again. Now if I just get the local stores to carry them.
Pros: Rewrites endlessly
Cons: not available in local stores.
