I hated seeing how much it costs to replace my AC adapter when the cord connection to the block began to fray, but I have to admit that this has stood up well so far. The reinforcement around the joint where my last adapter began to fall apart looks the same on this one, so I don't know if I'll end up with the same problem or not. I've had the new one for nearly two years, though, so I guess I can't complain.
