A Bluetooth-enabled accessory handset, the ELX500 is the ideal companion for your Uniden ELBT585 or ELBT595 expandable phone system. It is also compatible with other ELT series and select T8, CLX, and VoIP series models. The handset offers a clear 5.8 GHz signal, exceptional range, and a wide array of handy features. Caller ID/call waiting compatible, the handset's 100-number caller ID memory allows you to see a list of all recent incoming calls, while a 100-name and 400-number phone directory lets you keep track of all your important phone numbers. With the included USB cable, you can download pictures from your PC for use as handset background or as distinctive caller ID indicators. A 10-number speed dial makes dialing the most frequently dialed numbers quick and easy, and a display-and-dial feature lets you scroll through the caller ID and phone directory lists and call the displayed number simply by pressing the Talk button. Handset-to-handset memory transfer lets you import phone numbers from another handset. The soft-key menu and joystick navigation provide a convenient way to access the phone's many features, via a full-color LCD. Menus can be set to one of three languages (French, English, and Spanish). The ELX500 comes with 20 preset rings, as well as an audio cable that allows you to download your favorite songs or audio clips for use as ringtones.
