This phone has so many features it makes me feel like James Bond. We own the base and 4 additional remote handsets. (I don't have the same problem as the previous reviewer, we live in a smaller home). You can page someone in the next room using the INTERCOM feature. You can use these as WALKIE-TALKIES but the range is limited. The room monitor works as advertised handy if you have children or parents to care for. You have 100 memory storage for "phonebook" + CALLER ID which means (for example) if you use 75 memory storage spaces for your phonebook you'll have 25 memory spaces available for CALLER ID. The 26th memory "bumps" the next CALLER ID. Love this phone. Highly recommended.

At our house we're experts at misplacing cordless phones, so we purchased some of these additional handsets for our Uniden system. These are great phones with a lot of very nice features, and Uniden is our brand of choice. The battery life of this phone set it apart from other brands we have had. The sound is my only minor disappointment - it has a somewhat echo-like effect. It isn't real bad, which is why we added handsets to our existing system instead of replacing it, but it was disappointing with all the other great qualities of this phone. All-in-all, a great product!
