I use this mouse mostly on my Win XP machine, there were few initial problems but with updated drivers everything works well. - All buttons work as mentioned in the manual. You can configure the buttons to do whatever you want - Easily switches between 800 and 1600 dpi settings. This also means that you can change the speed of cursor by hitting a single button. - Full media player functionality which can be switched on by pressing and holding a button for 5 seconds. (This implies that you can have two functioning modes on this mouse. In one mode media player runs and in another mode same buttons can perform any operation that you set up, all this with just a flick of button - Good Design) - Battery low display on the mouse - Long battery life, I've been using it for 3 weeks now, battery low light still not coming up - Works on either one or two batteries (I like that since this can further reduce the weight of mouse) - Relatively light weight compared to some other models out there. - Comfortable ergonomical design (no cheap plastic stuff) - USB receiver is really small, may be an inch and a half (protruding) DO NOT use the default windows XP driver for this mouse. I did this and my XP machine will simply freeze with a blue screen every few minutes. Even the driver shipped with the mouse (on CD) will not help. I downloaded new drivers from manufacturer website and everything is working fine since then (this is a known issues with this mouse and documented on manufacturers website) I picked this up for $5/- at circuit city online after rebate. That is really unbeatable price for this nice mouse. I have already ordered 2 more. Highly recommended
