The TruLink KVM over Cat5 Extender is a robust solution that allows you to extend the distance between your KVM switch and your VGA monitor, USB keyboard, and USB mouse. Place your computers in one location and your console in another, up to 230 feet apart. Driving the VGA and USB signals over Cat5/6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable allows you to take advantage of your UTP cable infrastructure already installed for a cost-effective and reliable installation.This solution is ideal for applications where your computers need to be placed in a remote location or you need your monitor, keyboard, and mouse to reach further than the 25 feet length limitation experienced by most KVM switches. This is common in industrial applications such as manufacturing lines, clean rooms, server rooms, or for presentation and training applications.
