TEW-P1UG 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless USB 2.0 Print Server

The TEW-P1UG is a print server that transforms a standalone USB printer into a shared network printer. The TEW-P1UG provides IEEE 802.11g 54Mbps wireless interface for integrating into your existing wireless network. It also offers an Ethernet port for additional compatibility with your wired network. The TEW-P1UG is designed for virtually all printers equipped with USB 2.0 compliant printer port and it is an ideal network solution to convert conventional USB printer into a shared resource on the network. It includes a Windows-based administrative program and Web-based configuration. It has built-in flash memory for easy firmware upgrade and configuration file save and restore, as well as printing access control/display and email notification for printer error messages.

Be very careful with this server. There are many printers that will not work with it; I happen to have two. It is very difficult to set up and to trouble shoot. I've spent 2 hours on the phone with Tech support only to have them tell me that my new HP Laser P1006 will not work with this device. I also tried to install it with a Lexmark Z645; it will not support that printer either! Trendnet does not seem to have an "approved printers" list either, so who knows!
