The microSD memory chip and SD adapter came bundled together. I needed both to get my photos and video off of my new cel - via the memory - and into my PC - via the adapter. The memory fit my cel perfectly and has had adequate depth (512mb) to move all of the photos/videos that I have taken with the the cel camera via a single transfer - this works great. The adapter was problematic: it had no clear directions, or markings or mechanical stops to prevent putting the memory chip in it upside down. I did just that, but it did not seem to cause any damage. When I finally figured that out and flipped the chip, the adapter worked fine for my first transfer to the PC -- but it then refused to release the chip mechanically, for no obvious reason. After much very gentle tugging and fiddling, I did get the chip to release, and the adapter did work properly at the next transfer session. Recommend treating this adapter very gently when inserting the microSD chip in it, and marking the adapter to indicate correct orientation for inserting the chip.
