My old TomTom (v4, or New Edition) charger died. In fact, the wiring near the TomTom end actually broke and became exposed. Ordered this one as a replacement, cheaper than directly from TomTom, and the design looks like it'll be less prone to breaking than the original.

The product was great only flaw that I found was it didnt have the 2amp fuse like the original and in my opinion can be great to stop an electrical surge from reaching your tom tom...but all in all it does the job!

TOM TOM SHOULD BE IN A MENTAL INSTITUTION. ALL TOO OFTEN IT TAKES THE WORST ROUTES. WHEN LEAVING FOR NEW YORK FROM NEWARK AIRPORT IT ONCE HEADED ME FOR PHILADELPHIA. IT IS MADLY IN LOVE WITH I-95 WHICH IS USUALLY A PARKING LOT. BUT THE CHARGER IS GREAT.
