This page makes it look like it's genuine lenovo product, but it's NOT. I was searching for a ibm/lenovo battery for my t41 because one of my friend bought an OEM equivalent one before and the battery life deteriorated so fast. I found this item listed under 'Lenovo' product, saw the picture that looked exactly like the battery that came with my t41. I trusted the seller (which I shouldn't have!), and bought the item. Only after I got the shipment, I noticed it is their own brand, it looked different from the picture, it didn't even fit well. (It did work, though). I contacted the seller, complained, then they said they'll give me full refund including the charge that I was going to pay to ship it back to Northparts. I asked them about the return shipping charge several times to make sure, they said 'yes, we'll give you full refund'. It's been a few month, I still haven't gotten my shipping charge. A while ago, I emailed them again (they don't have customer service phone number if you can believe it) about the shipping charged not being returned. They replied saying 'we gave you full refund', so I replied back saying 'I did receive the refund for the item, but didn't get my shipping charge back. Then, they simply stopped replying to me. To sum up, I had a horrible experience communicating with them. After I send it back to them, I went on ebay, and got a used genuine ibm battery for $24. It came with quality guarantee. I got 3.5 hours out of it, and have been working perfectly since. Don't waste money on something like this.

This is an OEM battery from IBM/Lenovo, so it's just what you would expect it to be. I must say, though, that Office Depot's (aka Tech Depot) shipping was lighting-fast.
