I bought this product because I recently upgraded my HP desktop and I was in need of a more powerful power supply. It took me 10 minutes to install and it is SOO quiet! I am very happy with this purchase. If I ever buy a power supply again i will defiantly get a Thermaltake.

I am thoroughly impressed! I used a Thermaltake 430 to convert an HP Pavilion Desktop that I thought was going to be a home office machine, but wound up with it's dual-cores massively overclocked, an overclocked BFG GeForce 9800GT(1GB DDR3) graphics card out to a Matrox TripleHeadToGo(digital) to three Acer Ferrari 22" monitors with 7.1 surround! It is now my brother's ultimate FSX flight simulator that awes all who witness it. It will make me airsick & pull quite decent frame rates @ 3840x1024, not to mention shake your knees on a slab floor when you hit the afterburner! Although the Matrox and Ferrari's weren't cheap (the Ferrari's were for looks... you can get well priced 2ms 22" LCD's without the designer label), you can achieve great results without SLI or liquid cooling! Start by going with Thermaltake power supplies! The Thermaltake 430 handled the over-clocking and upgrades without hesitation, as well as maxing out the speed on the HP's fans, the graphics card's fan, and adding extra fans to keep the machine as cool as possible. Thermaltake's quality and attention to detail are immediately obvious, and extremely helpful. I LOVE the sleeved cabling - no plastic "sleeves" here, this is braided... nylon I'd guess. They also included adapters so it will work with most machines' motherboard power connection, as well as PCIe & plenty of extra lines for whatever you need to power. It makes for a very easy, clean, professional install - for only $35!
