Products like this I don't write reviews for immediately, there's just too many things that can go wrong. Six months down the road, factory defects not readily apparent can rear their ugly heads. Not the case here. I bought this unit two years ago while building my (then) new PC and have been running it ever since... as in for days on end while DLing or working on projects. It's actually easier to count how often its been powered down (the low teens). Not a single hiccup or peep in 2 years. The included cables are sturdy and protected with nylon sleeving and are sufficient for normal builds. Only minor complaint was I had to lubricate the computer rails with alcohol to install it.

To say that I'm pleased would be an understatement, I recently had to rebuild my main system as the motherboard burnt out, and since I had to order parts from the US I decided to go all out. New MOBO new case and heat sink and because of the increase in power needed a new powersupply. First off the packing for the Thermaltake 750 watt powersupply was impressive it had all the cables I could have asked for and at lengths that where acpteable everything was packaged in the large box for safety and easy recognision. I was also pleased by the rubber dampening seal that came with the powersupply to prevent vibrations transfering to the case from the powersupply. Installation was a breeze and on power up of the new system no noise, no vibrations, no nothing I had to check to make sure that everything was running because the systems noise ratio was so low.

I bought this PSU in a pinch when building my new system. I had bought an OCZ ModXStream PSU for my new system back in May or June and when I got it all together I realized the OCZ PSU was DOA(dead on arrival). Big bummer, so I went on Amazon and purchased the other PSU I was looking into, this Thermaltake(being a previous ThermalTake user, I know its good stuff). Paid for overnight shipping, and was well worth it. Plugged it in and works great. Rails are very accurate and rock solid even under heavy load and overclocking. Build quality is top notch and the smokey plated casing looks great in any case. I am now using this PSU in my multi-track recording system and put the higher capacity OCZ that was sent as my replacement back in my gaming computer. Over-all, the Thermaltake is a better built unit and rails are more solid. A+
