For a musician, it's often necessary to retune your guitar a little when learning songs from CDs. Songs are not all tuned to A-440,they usually vary a little. This MP3 player can adjust the pitch so you don't have to retune. You can change pitch without changing the tempo and vice versa. You can also slow it way down to hear into a guitar riff you want to copy. This is really a nice gadget for the money, it gives you a lot of control over the MP3's playback.
