The product shipped is actually different than the product pictured, for the better though! I'm guessing they phased out the old model (Black, big Red button and 4 Silver buttons) in exchange for a new one, but the one I was shipped is awesome. Doesn't look nearly as cheap and works perfectly. The new one has that soft rubbery plastic feel and has much better form-fitting shape. All Black body with dark Gray buttons. The tiny USB connector can also be stored in a slot within the remote, next to the single AAA battery (included). New product shot uploaded to the customer images.

This is the second unit I've bought of this type, having "lost" the first one, and it is a very valuable tool for presenting. Teaching graduate classes, students always ask if they can use this presenter for their presentations. Easy to use, works great - battery life is super.

This is a basic, reasonably priced product. I am confused by the complaints about short battery life: I taught four and a half hours per week and mine lasted three quarters. Just make sure you turn it off afterward!
