I bought this card a few years ago thinking it would dramatically improve my PC games. UH no it doesn't. It seems to have problems with even games made 6 years ago. Pay the extra money and get a better card.

Works just as promised. Takes some load off your computer and helps improve graphics for most applications needed. I've never had resolution issues that some have complained about - my dual monitor setup worked seamlessly. For folks complaining about the card not working with Vista - please do your homework before buying hardware. The system requirements clearly state the list of operating systems that this card will work on. http://www.diamondmm.com/S9250PCI256.php Unfortunately, amazon.com's technical description does not list the requirements for this card to work.

I cannot review this item. I have to return it. Images do not show the item received. The images show (multiple, different cards) with a PCI interface with notches indicating that it is compatible with both 5 volt and 3.3 volt PCI systems. The item received was not the item shown in any of the images. It had a PCI interface with a single notch indicating 5 volt system only. The description does not provide enough specification to distinguish.
