I have a DVI KVM switch, the theory behind this purchase was that I could connect the leads to my monitor, both DVI-D and D-SUB, and attatch my KVM. Then I could attach VGA and DVI pc's to the switch and my monitor would pick up the signal either way. For some unknown reason this did not work...when I attached the VGA PC it worked fine, but the DVI pc's did not. I ended up returning the product.
