The only reason these cost more than five dollars is probably because so many raw materials were used to make them. They are large, but very weak. There is no bass, they overclock easily, and the treble tends to hiss if you don't set your equalizer properly... this includes the default equalizer setting. With these you MUST adjust your equalizer to get a good sound, which can be obnoxious if you are not familiar with equalizer settings. These were a cheap emergency replacement for a trip, and I don't plan on using them after I replace my older, better headphones. There are cheaper, better quality headphones that can be purchased off of a shelf -though we recommend Amazon- , are smaller, have more bass, and broadcast treble without any hissing. on the good side, these are very comfortable and lightweight...among the most comfortable headphones I've ever used. These are so light because the speakers are dinky, so keep that in mind. The foam padding pretty much encases the entire ear and prevents sound leakage. The interior tapers so that the parts of the ear that stick out have lots of space to go. If you have the patience to match the equalizer to prevent distortion as well as emphasizing the sounds of your music, then these aren't a bad buy. This is not an audiophile's piece of equipment, and there are better, cheaper headphones out there.

Build Quality: Mediocre to Decent built quality, nothing horrendous, but nothing to write home about. A little on the lightweight side. The ear pads are nice, but not quite deep enough for me. If you have small ears these will fit great, but with large ears it will be seriously uncomfortable. Entirely plastic, with very little noise filtering. Not designed for an airplane or train. They'll definitely last if you take care of them, that is, if you take care of them. Sound Quality: The detail on higher frequencies (16,000+) are very nice, that is for a pair of $20 headphones. Nothing phenomenal, just very nice. However, the lower end of the spectrum is really lacking. There is definitely bass somewhere in there, so it isn't missing it entirely; there's just no power. In a song with a good mixture of bass and treble, the treble seriously overpowers the bass. This renders these nearly unusable for the vast majority of classic and modern rock. Acoustic guitar is fantastic, as are higher (female) voices. It is very disappointing with bass, and deeper vocals. Overall: They're the headphones I stuff in a backpack for when I travel. Decent for a cheap mp3 player or laptop, when you're looking to kill time. Audiophiles look elsewhere, but they would already know that by now. I think these are great for audiobooks and speech. Decent enough for movies. I can't bring myself to recommend them for music use though. The bass sucks. What can I say?

Do not trust reviews... I searched all over the internet for some nice headphones, came to decide on these after... all I can say is cheap. The headphones are flimsy, its a plus because they don't push against your head, Which brings me to my next point. Absolutely no noise canceling with these, it actually echoes... very annoying. The chord can be a plus because its 11.5 ft.... What can I say, I got what I paid for.... $20...
