It does what I need it to - it records, replays, and is easy to erase. I don't know what else I would need it for.

What a great tool to have for long recordings! I use this little thing to record our church servies and it does what is says it does, it can hold up to 54 hours in HQ mode and 81 hours in SP 100+ in LP. It got to me 8 days faster then they said it would and I tested it, looked it over and it is in 'perfect' condition as they said it would be and it works better then our $80 Olympus Digital recorder!

This recorder works great if you plan recording memos or as a note taker. (If you want to record music, you really need a bit better recorder and it would be good to have stereo recording.) Pros: 1. Is pretty good on batteries if using for note taker and memos. 2. It does have a way to turn off the display by using the Hold feature on the side. It places the recorder in a mode where the display turns off and the front panel buttons are not functional for safety. 3. If you need to record for a long period of time, you can use the folder functions to select one folder for memos, another for note taking, and another for longer recording. 4. It has enough record time for normal use and if speed is changed, then more time. (Changing speed can effect battery life.) Cons: 1. Time display only available in 24 hours mode. This can be confusing if you are not use to it. 2. Manual suggests backing up your files, but the recorder doesn't come with cord to do this, nor a output plug to a PC which might be useful in completing this. Overall, it was perfect for what I needed.
