The difference in image quality when uprading from component connection to HDMI is staggering! This product is well worth the investment. BTW, for some reason, my cable is black which suits me just fine.

I purchased this item and it seems to be very high quality cable and it's capable carrying full 1080p signal. I am using this cable on my LG 42" 1080p HDTV and the picture is awesome. I would recommend this to all.

If you own a PS3 and a television that supports HDMI, you must have this! Don't use the red/white/yellow cables that come with the PS3 because they don't support the video/audio speeds the PS3 can output. This cable allows for 1080p crystal clear gaming, even though there aren't that many games that are 1080p. It doesn't matter if you have a plasma LCD TV or whatever, be sure to check if it supports HDMI first before buying this.
