My Sony CD player arrived as promised and the packaging was awesome. I am a senior citizen and got it set up myself within 20 minutes. I love the sound and the remote control. Glad I picked this one. I bought it because one of the previous reviewers reminded me of the slogan: "Sony, no baloney".

I have used this product for 11 months. Sound quality - excellent be it jazz, classical vocals, bassy music Controls layout - instinctive, easy to use Aesthetic - looks prettier and dearer than it really is iPod amplification - no distortion, yet powerful Wear and tear - big problem, EACH one of my CDs skip, every minute or so. Sony QC is no longer what it was vaunted to be. In sum - Get it if you're a low-freq user.
