AWESOME! I've been a looong-time fan of Pioneer and they still have what it takes to give you "ear candy". The speakers come with lots of extras, wires, connectors, mounting options, etc. They can handle plenty of power, you NEED an amp for these. Run at least 80-100 watts RMS and thye'll perform wonderfully. The highs are crystal clear and shimmery while the bass is tight and powerful. Mids blend well with the rest and give a great tonal spectrum. Check your local audio electronics store and you may see these on display. If you do, it's worth your few minutes to please your ears!

As an upgrade from stock, these speakers are amazing: notes in the song come alive, some of which I have never heard before. I still have these running off the factory stereo so I can't comment on bass or power...I have two 12s so bass isn't much of an issue. However, for clear crisp sound these are wonderful. Looking at the stats of the new Premiers (which recently replaced these) they are basically the same speaker. For the price, these would be hard to beat.

THESE PIONEER SPEAKERS WERE ADDED TO A NEW JENSEN DVD STEREO AND REPLACED MY ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT SPEAKERS. THEY WERE EASILY INSTALLED AND THE 4 WAY SOUND IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NEW STEREO FILL THE CABIN WITH JUST GREAT SOUND. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
