I like the battery - I just wish the extra charger came with it for free. Obviously, you already have one battery and this is a spare so it only makes sense to get the charger, which is almost as much as the battery. After buying my hv10, i had to buy a firewire cable, a pci firewire card, the hd dv tapes, this battery, the charger, and an external usb hdd for extra storage. No big deal (well it was like $200 for everything), but I'm just saying that the stuff from Canon for their existing customers doesnt need to be marked up so much. it has good battery life but if only they can make it smaller than it will be perfect.
