Pros & Cons :the stupid thing kept crashing (either hanging up and rebooting itself, or giving me the "green screen of death"), on the order of about once a day, often having to restart (10+ minutes lost) right in the middle a recording.

Pros & Cons :other than that its got an esata male 7 pin plug on each end, and is what you need to attach an external drive to a tivo series 3 (if you don't use tivo's expander, which comes with a cable).
