I'm using this with my laptop computer so that I can listen the streaming video while my wife is watching something else on TV. Works great. Wonderful sound. I'm completely satisfied.

... is where you're going to use these. Okay, so 900 other reviews will tell you that these are great headphones. Yes they're great and I won't explain why they're great because... really who cares after 900 reviews. That said, these things don't block out external noise so using these anywhere loud is a no. Naturally, a lot of sound leaks even at middle range volume, which won't be courteous to people around you. I own both PX-100 and 200. Considering the said two factors, I personally like the PX-200 better. I believe they're virtually the same headphones-- only the 200s are closed and have synthetic leather paddings. Because the PX-200 are closed, there is less external noise and less sound leak. I'll pick 200 over 100 any day for use during a commute.

I wanted a decent set of headphones to use with my new Nintendo DSi. I've never been a fan of in-ear-canal microheadphones; having the driver that close to my eardrum has always made me a little nervous about the wondrous world of hearing loss. In addition, I've never found any that I found comfortable to wear. I've always preferred cushioned headphones with a headband. These PX100 really bring out the details; the bass especially is punchy and distinct without being overwhelming. I think the sound is cleaner and more impressive than my set of PX200's that I have. Regarding the collapsing/folding case; yes, it's a bit of a pain. I was determined to learn how to do it one day, so I sat and spent a good twenty minutes mastering the deft maneuvering necessary to fold these wonderful headphones back into their case. Even so, it's a rare day that I can get them packed away safely in their little cage in less than a minute or so. Regardless, highly recommended. Next to my aging MDR-V6 Sony headphones (more than three times the size) the PX100 has become my favorite set of headphones.
