I really take care of my things believe me but it was not enough because like 6 months later to own it the mic got broke and like 2 months later the left side got broke too, i am a gamer and really hate to waste my money on a headset that just work fine for 6 months

As a gaming headset, this is probably superior to most of the low to medium end ones out there, but in absolute quality it's mediocre. Sound output quality is less accurate than most Sennheiser head phones of a similar price range. It's much less accurate than my Sennheiser HD600s, but that's expectable due to the 5x difference in price. Mirophone quality is good, but that's not very hard to do given that most common, low-cost, consumer electronic electret microphones are quite good. Comfort is good, and microphone placement is good, but the headset occasionally falls off my head when I'm gaming. Over the ear headphones would probably be much better in that respect, compared to these which rest on ear. For many people these may be the best headphones they've heard, and they are better than typical low-end consumer equipment, but in absolute terms they're below average. (If you think these are good, try some of the better Sennheiser audio headphones; you'll probably be amazed at the difference, especially as your ears and brain learn to hear more detail and accuracy.) As a gaming or VOIP headset, this is marginally acceptable. I wish Sennheiser would make a better sounding model between this one and their high end gaming headset, which is probably based on their audiophile headphones.

Things you should know before buying: -Supra aural, sits on your ears so you can hear everything that is going on around you, thats a good thing at a lan party however. -8 foot long chord and inline mic control and volume are nice, you may accidentally change the volume by rubbing up against the volume control (-half star) - The chord and mic are on the left side of the headset and is noticed by adding a bit of weight that results in readjustments if you are turning your head often enough (-half star). Overall: If you just bought these you will enjoy them if you are ready for open headphones that feel like little couches sitting on your ears.
