THIS EARPHONE HEADSET IS A PRETTY GOOD ONE FOR BEING MODERATELY PRICED. IT DOES HAVE THE BLOCKER FOR BACKGROUND NOISES INCLUDED WITHIN IT SO THAT WORKS WELL FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE TO WEAR HEARING AIDS. I'D HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE.

If you are on the fence with these or the HD202 headphones, take into consideration your listening tastes. The biggest/only difference between the two sets of headphones is bass. If you are a bass head, go for the HD202, if you like a more clean sound go for these (HD201). The bass on the HD202 sounds a bit too muddy at loud volumes for my liking. Pros: Price, comfort, CLEAN sound Cons: May seem under-bassed to the untrained ear Overall, it is nearly impossible to find a better set of headphones for this price. These sound much better when properly powered from an aftermarket sound card. You may be disappointed if you hook them up to your iPod expecting amazing results.

I purchased these headphones, because I needed something to use for long periods of time on the computer. The sound quality is fair, but you're going to get some crackling on occasion and if you have an ear in mind for music specifically they're not top of the line headphones (a Sony is probably going to give you better sound quality - though I bought these since my Sony's broke after a month). But overall, these headphones are really comfortable, I can wear them for up to six hours with no discomfort as they go around the ears, instead of sitting on them. This is extremely important when it comes to comfort for headphones. The padding on top of the strap is also an extra comfort, and there was no real issue with them in that area. The two problems I had with the Sennheiser HD201 Headphones was the sound quality (which I couldn't complain for the price, as it was decent), and the cord. The cord is ridiculously long and doesn't come with anything to wrap it up. I can watch TV across the room and still have plenty of give on this cord. A plus for when I want to watch TV in bed, but it makes it next to impossible to use this for my mp3 player. Another issue is that where the cord splits is a little too close to my neck for my liking, giving no option to adjust. Basically for the price, if you're looking for something comfortable to wear for long periods of time, with decent audio sound, and are interested in a really long cord - it's worth the price. If you want something for music specifically, with a shorter cord, and no crackling (it's rare, but annoying when it happens), you probably want to look into something else - but it'll cost you.
