I read all the positive reviews and thought that this was the player for me, but it was an absolute nightmare. I plugged it in for the initial synchronization and waited. And waited. And waited. Two hours later, it was still synching. No progress was indicated on the status bar, so I looked for a problem and saw that all it had done so far was a 2% sync on one song. After two hours! I deleted this song, reset everything, and tried again. After an hour, the synchronization was still in progress but all of the 750+ songs in the library were still at 0%. Tech support was a huge waste of time, so I gave up and sent it back. Bottom line: I wasted almost an entire Saturday trying to get this thing to work, but I never even got to listen to one song. Unless you enjoy hours of fruitless troubleshooting, I would suggest you try something else.

Quick review: It's small, cheap, and it works. I love it. It's a LOT smaller than I expected (which is a good thing). It clips onto my belt, my shirt hangs over it, and you can't tell that it's there. It is barely bigger than the thickness of my belt. One slight hiccup: you need to change the USB mode to MSC if you want it to show up as a USB mass storage device (like a thumb drive) on your (Windows) computer so you can just drag and drop mp3's onto it. Otherwise it will default to MTP mode, which tries to get you to use Windows Media Player to load your music -- this is a PITA if you don't use WMP to manage your music collection. It wasn't really a problem -- a quick Google search turned up the answer in a forum -- but I could see it being a problem for a non-techie (ie, my parents never would have figured it out). For the non-techies: just navigate the menu to settings > USB mode > MSC and you are good to go. You can then connect it to your computer and it will show up as a drive in My Computer; you can copy your songs into the "MUSIC" folder.

This product provides a lot for its size and overall I am please with the service I have gotten from it. I use it mostly when I work out and I enjoy being able to have the option of using the FM radio or music transferred from CDs. Operating the player takes getting use to but practice makes easy. My only issue with the product is the constant need to adjust the tip of the headphone in the device; very annoying how it does not always stay in. May have to invest in a different set of headphones to see if it makes a difference. But I am enjoying my little device, good bang for the buck!
