I got this monitor for a home-office setup, not for movie watching or the like. There are fewer and fewer 4:3 options in LCDs, and this monitor is ideal for a dual-setup (I am ordering the second one shortly after Christmas). After almost 2 months, the display has been flawless, with plenty of settings and zero dead pixels. I would recommend the monitor to anyone looking for a great dual-screen setup or just the 4:3 aspect w/DVI.

This is not one of the cheapest LCD of its size. But it worth the money. I chose it because it is brighter and smoother. It is easy to adjust the brightness, several pre-settings and a fine tune. Very easy to use. I used it as an extension to my laptop. I can rotate it when I read articles in pdf files.

I bought a factory-refurbished one of these based on excellent reviews in several places. I wanted it for photo editing on a limited budget. I especially wanted a 4:3 aspect screen because that's the best for most photos. This seemed to be just what I wanted. Now I've disconnected it and reinstalled my dependable 15 incher. Many times over the past few months, the monitor does what I can only describe as "flashing". This happens unpredictably and not continuously. It's blinding and a bit scary but I usually have to continue what I was doing or lose it. (Also the Natural Color feature doesn't want to work on my Dell for no particular reason.)
