Wanting to replace my Plantronics CTx, I came across this phone which looked great with both cordless headset and cordless phone. It worked well enough until the mouthpiece section, which snaps into the headset section, snapped off, and although I could click it back in, and I could hear others talking to me, no one could hear me. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS because I had seen a few that said replacement headsets are not available ..... HOWEVER on calling the RCA they said they would send out a whole new phone (I am still within warranty). Nice Then of course I realized maybe not so good after all ... once my warranty is up that's it .... so hopefully the next headset lasts ........

Was reasonably happy with this unit...but broke a part right after the warranty expired and found out that RCA and the company they sold this division to no longer keeps the spare parts that are listed in the User Manual...so basically pitched it...what a waste. Wrote a polite letter to their "Customer Service" group that was never responded to...will NEVER do business with this company again, and am shocked that they actually still sell this thing knowing they won't provide spare parts. Amazon has plenty of other offerings...buy something else.

I have been looking for something like this. I ordered it and wonder how I managed with out it. Oh yea there is blue tooth which is great, but heck I like having a Lan line and being hands free. When working from home I would use my cell, and cordless, sometimes my princess dial...Yikes. I ended up with a kink in my neck and my battery wore down after one 60 minute meeting. Now with my new RCA ViSys the headset has a battery and so does the phone. Nice I do not have any trouble walking outside or upstairs and getting great reception... thanks
