This was listed on Amazon Warhouse as being for a PCI board but when the Video card arrived it was for a PCIe board. I resold it to a friend no loss in money but a big lose in my time.

PCI-E vs AGP
Runningna Dual mother board, with AGP x8 & PCi-E x16 slots.nI bought the VisionTek radeon video card on sale, just to see how thenPCi-E card would compare to the Radeon agp card I was running.nThe Visiontek card did have a few possitives, smaller card that onlyntakes up 1 slot, freed up space above SB heat sink allowing addition ofnan active cooler.nCooling fan much quieter than the one on the high end AGPnThe negative with the card though is in the performace, even withndouble the bandwith of AGP, the lower core and memmory clock speedsnresulted in slower overall performance than the AGP.nOver all for the price the Visiontek is a decent card, but remember younare not paying $400+ for this card so don't expect that kind ofnperformance.
Pros: small size, doesn't require additonal power connector

This is an excellent video card
I purchased this card recently for a new AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core system that I built to run the Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit operating system.I am very impressed with the performance of this card. This is an exceptional value as well and a nice leap up from the integrated motherboard graphics and/or low to mid level Nvidia graphics adapters.I was very impressed with how fluid and life-like my games looked once I installed the drivers and configured the control center settings to my liking.I downloaded the Catalyst Drivers version 7.3 from the AMD website and they work great on my system. I was using the Nvidia 7600 GS 512 MB graphics adapter prior to this one and I was very disappointed with the performance as well as the driver support for Windows Vista from Nvidia they have a long way to go.However I would recommend this graphics card to anyone who is searching for a value card with high end performance.
