I've used QSee products before. This one had to replace a burned out camera. Out of the box I plugged it in and it worked. I had to readjust the focus and zoom, but that wasn't an issue. Be aware that like any lower cost camera, these don't always last for years and years. This one replaced the same model that was in use for about 18 months. This one is still working though.
