I ordered that tray as an add on to my new HP3600dn color laserjet printer. It was a simple install, the printer simply drops on alignment pegs on the optional tray. The printer immediately discovered the tray, and listed it in the menu. What I haven't quite figured out yet (and admittedly haven't taken the time to research) is if there are driver based selections to pick which tray is being used for feeding paper to the printer, or if the hardware automatically picks which tray is used. Right now, I believe the large new tray is the primary supply. If the driver allows selection, then different paper sizes can be loaded, or same size different quality etc. I hope this is possible, but don't know yet. At any rate, the tray works perfectly, and was a great addition to the printer.
