Entertainment on the go

If you’re like me, a lot of your time is spent on the go. This means things like out doing errands, groceries, and all sorts of assorted shenanigans. However, this means I tend to miss out on TV shows that I love, or never watch videos that I’ve been looking forward to. Even if I manage to TiVo them, I can never find enough time to sit down and watch them. Yet, I have some time while I’m out, where I can grab ten minutes here or there, due to lines or traffic or what have you. It always seems a shame to let that time go to waste, so I began to use it to watch all those shows I’m backlogged on.
The first thing I had were books, which were easy to read on the go. I would browse my book whenever standing in line or whenever I had a spare moment. However, this was kind of bulky, even with paperbacks. God forbid if I had hardcovers. So eventually I had to find something easier to carry around.
My next experiment involved getting a portable XM radio with some Skullcandy bud headphones. Listening to the radio anywhere was great, and I could catch the latest broadcast of the game. These were great, since the Skullcandy headphones let me keep my headphones in and stay tuning in wherever I was, even while I was doing errands.
What I’m going to try next is picking up a portable tv that I can watch on the go. There are a ton of tv shows that I need to catch up on, and I see this as being the quickest way I can make up those lost seasons. If you have any experience with this, tell me how it goes!
