I love this product. I only wish that the remote more closely resembled the iPod buttons and features. The sound is fantastic! Really fills up a large room or outdorr space.

This unit is well worth the money and the sound comparison to the $100 units by other manufacturers is SO superior. It has excellent sound at low, medium, and high volumes. It is light weight. Battery use is long. I have gone at least 2 hours with no problems - I just haven't had reason to go beyond that yet. Some complain of having to use the remote. You don't have to - the unit has volume controls, and everything else can be run from the Ipod itself. But the remote is easy to use and has good range. For someone like me who works and plays with music on constantly the Portable Sound Dock is a great value.

I did so much research online for iphone speakers and I even went on to the apple online store to see what was available. Some reviews states this was compatable for iphone use, but unfortunately it does not work. I've tried the iphone on the older soundock and it worked so I assumed this one would too, but this new version does not support the iphone. I had the logitech 50mm and wanted to upgrade since I love the portability being able to take it anywhere. I did tried this with an Ipod and the Bose speakers does sound great. I ended up calling Bose to see if there was anything that I missed, but the tech says it's something Bose is still working on with the new iphone technology. They did recommend using a Auxillary cable, but defeats the purpose of have these speakers since you would not be able to use the remote or use it as a charging dock. If you're spending $400, you want to be able to use all he functions. I'm in the process of returning my Bose speakers and I guess I'll go back to my Logitech, definately can't beat the price and my lasted 3 years. The reason it gave up on me was because I took it to Costa Rica and my friend left it out in the rain.
