I purchased this to replace my roady XT because of it's smaller size and easier portability. I wanted to use it while walking or doing yard work. The reception is poor at best. I've even tried placing it in a holder on the dash in the car but anytime you go under a powerline or by trees, you lose reception. It has to be hooked to the wired antenna or you will be disappointed with the reception. Also, the remote that came with the unit doesn't work. I have contacted the seller and Pioneer. The seller tells me that it is up to Pioneer for warranty work and Pioneer tells me that the seller is not one of their authorized dealers so they will not replace it. Very frustrating. Also, everytime I have tried to contact Pioneer, I have had a 15 - 20 minute wait to speak with anyone. I will definately not purchase any Pioneer products in the future.

Why did I wait so long to buy this? I purchased this to use primarily at the office. (For some reason, I can't get any reception in my apartment, but here at work, WOW. PERFECT reception) I so happy with this little gadget. Even the earbuds that came with it work just fine for me. I don't even mind paying for the satellite radio subsription. I am a huge indie rock fan, and the XMU station has introduced me to so much new music!! I look forward to coming to work just so I can listen to this all day. The radio itself is very user friendly as well. Again, I only use it to listen to the radio, and I love the fact that I can also record my radio station. I highly recommend this product to all. There is truly something for everyone on the XM Channel lineup. I am very very happy with this purchase. No complaints here.

I purchased the product because I was tired of listening to all of the talk on broadcast radio, including PBS stations. I have been using the Inno now for about six months and I love it. The music sounds good ( I use a pair of small Bose speakers). I have recorded music that I especially like and have created a couple of playlists. The recording feature is especially appealing to me because I sometimes just want to listen to my own choices. I have found that when I use the antenna earphones (separate purchase), and hang them over my car rear view mirror, I can get great reception while driving. I plug it into a tape like divice which I then insert in my tape deck. The sound is as good as I get when I do the same thing with my Sansa MP3 player. The music selection on XM Radio is extensive( listen to any kind of music you like) and the Inno radio works perfectly. I listen about 3 hours a day at home and would hate to be without it.
