I bought this as a stand-alone phone based on the description of this being "expandable." This is a handset to add to an existing system, this is not a base station or stand alone set.

I have had this product for about 2 months. The phones work great! My favorite feature is that when you pick up any handset and make a change, such as clear the missed calls and voicemail, it applies on all the phones. They have an amazing sync feature. These phones are worth the cost.

Although I just purchased this Panasonic TGA1015 as an add on handset, I have to say the DECT 6 technology is really nice. Before, with my 5.8 GHz phone, I was constantly getting feedback on my computer and cell phone, but not anymore. The address sharing is a nice feature as is the speakerphone capability in each handset. All in all, this feature packed phone is intuitive and very easy to operate. I would recommend this phone to anyone.

I have 6 of these as I bought into the system a few years ago. They go bad easily. Batteries stop holding a charge, the speakers tend to go bad. The intercom is always nice. The shared phonebook feature is odd. You have to push a list to each of the other phones. Can't turn off ringer light. The answering machine options are non-standard and can get you to wipe out your message when dialing in remotely to check messages. Lots of little poor design features but overall the phone has some good features and it works ok.

I purchased the base phone and 1 expansion two years ago. I just love them! I love the talking caller id which is why I bought them. They have many cool features like ringtones and you can upload pictures into them. I loved these phones so much I just bought 3 more. Now I have 5 phones one in every room. I was not disappointed in fact I recommend this Panasonic phone system highly. They are on sale now and I may buy a couple more!

I've had this phone now for about 18 months. I have two handsets, two chargers, one of which is the base. The phone has never let me down. The batteries are nickel metal hydride so it doesn't matter how pften you charge them for they don;t have a memory like nicads. There's not a better home phone out there. I've installed MP3 music on it for ringers, and pictures as well. When you store a phone n umber in the handset, you can press a button and it sends the new number to the other handset.

Funtions like a cell phone, but clear crisp sound , July 6, 2008 By Willa M. Saylor (Wister, Oklahoma USA) - See all my reviews The base phone came with an easy to use computer disk and cable. I hooked up to my computer, entered all the contact information with speed and easy. I down loaded pictures to set with each phone number of family members. I created and downloaded ringtones to add to this phone, it is great! I purchased it for my elderly parents who could not see very well and had trouble hearing a regular phone. The bright color screen with large display and numbers made it very easy for them to see. The buttons light up making it easy for them to place calls in a low light situation. The Talking caller ID is not the clearest, but helped them hear that the phone is ringing. This is a high tech phone that, when programed via computer with all the personal informaiton, is really easy to operate for the low tech like my parents. The clarity of the calls were great! I could hear my parents better and they could hear me better. No more yelling back and forth..."Can you hear me now?" I was also able to set their favorite picture as wallpaper on the main screen. Battery is also easy to install and replacements are inexpensive. The cons to this phone is that you can only download ringtones in .wav format. This sent me searching for online conversions rather than using my mp3 files that I already have on my computer.

I bought the base unit KX-TG5776 about a year ago with some expansion units. I recently moved in to an appartment where I really did not want to run wires to where I wanted phones. So I just bought more of the extension phones. I also have DSL so I a normal phone would not work without having filters on each phone. This way I just have one filter for the base unit. I also like the color display on this unit and the capability of a USB connection to load the phone's phone book with provided software. Panasonic has cheaper extentions that don't have the color display and USB conections. The phones do have a capability of flashing a light when there is a new message on the base unit. The default is to not have this feature on. Read the manual to figure out how to turn on. The message indicator does not work with phone company's Voice Mail.

This phone is the add-on for the AT&T 5.8GHz Digital Phone. It is identical to the phone that comes with the base and links to the base system very easily. The phone is light, well made and easy to use. Each of these phones may be personalized in setup.

This is the worse phone I've ever owned! I bought this to replace another bad phone but this one turned out to be even worse. People complain that they can't hear me even when I put it on "Boost" and lately it just turns off by itself in the middle of the conversation. I tried to contact Panasonic on-line but haven't heard from anybody yet - I guess I will have to call them to resolve this problem. Do not bother buying this item - it's not worth it.

After purchasing a phone at a nearby warehouse club, I was disappointed to learn the "extra handset" was running nearly as much as the phone. I finally found the handset with the most reasonable shipping I could. It arrived packed well, and in just 2 days. Glad to have the phone, even better it was a bargain.

This is the 3rd handset we purchased for the base unit and we LOVE IT! LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Yes, it's a bit more pricer then others, but, hey, you get what you pay for! Simple to SINC with the base unit. Them u just plug this phone extenstion into any electrical outlet in your home and BAM! You've got another phone it that room (cordless)! You can also change the rings so when someong special is calling there special ring will play. Not to mention it's set up to ANNOUNCE who's calling so we know IF we want to pick it the phone or just let it go into the answering mode. It also has a PRIVACY button - to ensure that none of your nosey neighbors can here your converstaion on there scannner because it blocks it out! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

I bought this as an addition to my Uniden 738-3T system as the fourth phone. The handsets are very nice quality and the only 2.4 Ghz units that I have run across that do not seem to suffer from interference problems with WiFi stuff and other phone. The sound quality is top notch and the speakerphone works very well. The features are outstanding and the only thing that is missing is a headphone jack. This unit also uses about 1/2 the electricity of the one it replaced. Maybe not that big a deal to most, but since it is plugged in 100% of the time, it probably save a few bucks in electricity per year.

The design is very simple and the phone itself has pretty much everything you'd need in a basic cordless phone - speakerphone, caller ID, selection of ringtones, phonebook, voicemail box. It's very light and takes up very little room, and so far seems durable. I'd recommend this to just about anyone. It's a safe bet, and you'll get all the basic features you want.
