I always wanted to try this paper and finally broke down and spent the $$$. It provides a very unique look to a photo print. Not what you want for a punchie bright sunset, but it makes the greatest soft people kids and sleeping dogs, shots. I also tried some foggy trees that came out great! The colors are very true, and while not quite as vibrant as regular photo paper, this gives a real true matte finish. While it's not right for every print, it brings a whole new dimension to the right image. Even I can create Fine Art!

I opted to try this paper after buying a box of Canon Matte Photo Paper type MP-101. The Matte Photo Paper was okay but not show quality and a let down. HOWEVER! This Canon Fine Art Paper Rag exceeded my expectations in the quality of reproduction using my Canon Pixma iP6220D printer. I have had really excellent results with Canon Photo Glossy Plus Paper and wanted something instead of Glossy for an art show I am currently prepping for this coming weekend. This Fine Art Photo Rag is excellent. I am thrilled with the results. Rich colors and fine detail being held, printed from my high resolution Sony Alpha100 digital camera. I am getting true photographic quality output this evening and will be mounting prints tomorrow for exhibition and judging this Saturday. So in closing if you want real photo output on a fine matte surface this paper will do the task. I'm painting with light and ink!
