This handset, and the KX-TGA935B, are as far as I know, the only two handsets that work with the KX-TH1212B Panasonic Link-to-Cell Expandable Bluetooth-Enabled DECT 6.0 Phone System. The KX-TGA930T are the exact same handsets that come with the KX-TH1212B. The KX-TGA935B is the splash/drop resistant model and is notably (but not significantly) heavier and feels larger than the KX-TGA930T. I have 3 KX-TGA930T in addition to the 2 that came with the KX-TH1212B, and we got one of the KX-TGA935B for my wife to take outside/gardening/etc, and it lives on the kitchen counter when it isn't traveling outside. 6 Handsets total, and of course my wife still manages to carry them off so I have to go looking for one :-) I have noticed no sound or volume difference compared to the KX-TGA935B. I do prefer the original Black-colored KX-TGA930T since it is slightly lighter than the KX-TGA935B, which has a Red circle and metal-grid graphic (just for looks, it's smooth to the touch). They will not fit in each other's charging cradles so that helps ensure that the Kitchen phone generally remains in the Kitchen at least! It pairs without any issue with the KX-TH1212B and stays that way, no issue with dropped calls or disconnected handsets. Range does not seem any different between the two handset models. A big Pro for me is the batteries are rechargeable AAA's, 2 per handset. You'll never have to buy an expensive proprietary battery. And, when you do replace the AAA's it comes with, you can use your choice of higher mAh ones like Eneloop or Duracell.

It's been my experience that Panasonic makes the best affordable phones. I bought this one for my dad (almost 80 years old) as an add on to the phone I bought him earlier this year. Pros: Sound quality, easy installation and set up Cons: Can't think of any right now.

Purchased two extra phones to go with the base unit and four phones that came with the set. Quick and easy set up, if you read the instructions. Yes, read the instructions. Typical Amazon service. Quick and on time.
