This card reader does a nice job. Make sure you have the right Olympus camera. This is very easy to use, very plug-and-play if you use PC or Mac. It'll work as a mass storage device and you can import easily into iPhoto if you use MacOS like I do.

At first blush the reader's software loaded easily as did the plug-in USB cord. The computer synced with it, no problem. The fun began when I inserted my photo card. Fonts that I've never seen before popped on on an old "DOS" format telling me to log off immediately before a system crash. After removing and reinstalling the software, it happened again. I called Olympus tech support only to be told by a tech that his "mentor" would have to solve the problem and that I'd be called back within 48 hours. It didn't happen. I finally got hold of someone at tech support who knew what they were talking about, and we downloaded a patch that needed to be run TWICE before it would take effect. It is finally working, but if I had to to do it all over again, I wouldn't.

they make you install software for this item and i simply never got the drive to show up on my MAC desktop, ever, after installation. it didn't ever show up beforehand and neither after so i returned the entire package. wouldn't waste your time with this - by SanDisk brand.
