I have several IOGEAR KVM switches and all of them have worked great. But this one has been nothing but trouble. I have two desktops; one Vista, one XP and both desktops have difficultly find either the keyboard or the mouse after returning from hibernation. Sometimes I can put the device back to sleep and allow it to wake again, and the workstation will return to normal. Other times, the workstation will wake with neither the keyboard or the mouse working and the only solution is a cold boot of the system. Additionally, using the KVM itself cause the video driver in Vista to stop working. This is most likely a problem with Vista or the nVidea drivers. But overall this makes the KVM virtually useless.
