I have to say, I had high hopes for this little drive. Unfortunately I bought this without doing my homework first, and "figured" Iomega would be a quality product. Boy was I disappointed. The drive looked very nice, was recognized without issues, all looked well. So I started transferring my old iTunes library to it (about 55GB). Over 24 hours later! It finished, and the performance issues didn't stop there. I downloaded some TV shows from iTunes, and while it was downloading tried watching another show. SKIP SKIP SKIP... It was unwatchable. There is no way USB 2.0 is saturated by a DSL down load and a 480i TV program. Copying a 500mb file from my internal mini hard drive to the MiniMax took over 12 minutes. This is USB v1 speeds, unacceptable. After working with Iomega support I lost all respect for this company and this product. Needless to say the drive was returned to Amazon (easy process, way to go Amazon) and I've since researched and found a better product, "Newer Technology MiniStack V2". The cost was more, but rock solid performance is worth every penny to me!
