Good mouse. Great response. Using it currently. Took me a day to get it synced, but that was also due to me playing with my new netbook to the point of annoyance and I just didn't want to read any more forums. I ended up trying 0000 as the code, and it worked. I had a bluetooth headset that required that code back in the day. Just would have been nice to see that listed SOMEWHERE!

I'm still having issues getting this to sync with my Asus EEE 904HA with a $3 bluetooth adapter I bought off of Slickdeals in EEEbuntu 2.0 Standard. This has kept me out of EEEbuntu. I have posted this issue on a few of their forums thinking it was a EEEbuntu issue. They tell me that it is a Microsoft Hardware issue. It works fully with Windows XP great. I have a friend that is using his own compiled version of Ubuntu for the EEE pcs on a 1000 EEE. If he syncs my mouse, it works great. With EEEbuntu 2.0 standard, if I use the normal sync process, it will loose my mouse if the computer goes into standby or sleep. Then when the laptop comes back up I have no mouse, and have to resync again. I do not like to use the touchpad which is WHY I bought this mouse. This issue has kept me completely out of EEEbuntu and I'll have to work on it as I would like a good stable version of Linux running on my laptop.

The mouse goes to sleep very fast (after a few seconds of inactivity) and usually requires a system reboot to reconnect. Just goes to show how ingrained reboots are in Microsoft's design culture! Otherwise it's sleek, connects easily, very responsive, has my must-have back/forward buttons. I had hoped the power-saving on-off switch and sleep mode were improvements - no such luck! Battery change frequency is quite high - though, since they're AAA, no benchmark to compare to. Right now this and its Logitech equivalent (V470) are selling way below their original retail prices. Now you know why!!
