The Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 has worked out great for me. Bluetooth setup was quick and easy; did not even have to use the included CD. It has a very good response rate, and has met my expectations. It comes with a hard plastic carry case to store it when not in use and for damage protection when storing in your notebook carry case. It includes a USB adapter for using on a non-Bluetooth pc which stores inside the carry case when not in use (as is the case with me). Overall, it was a good buy, the price was good, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a Bluetooth mouse and won't mind the size of the mouse.

I am very happy with this purchase. For 40-something dollars, this mouse is a great buy. Granted I have had it only for about a month and I'm curious to see how it's going to last, but I'm hopeful: PROS -Nice feel, fits well in the hand and I have a pretty big hand -Comes with an excellent hard case where you can store also the USB receiver. And if your computer has bluetooth capabilities like mine, then you can just use that little convenient slot for your flash drive -Excellent laser pointer and presentation features -Solid build, for the most part (battery compartement seems a little sensitive, but I don't know yet whether it'd be an issue) -Solid battery life whose settings you can customize either for performance or battery longevity -Neat on/off button -Scroll feels fine CONS -The side buttons are very awkward, especially the left side button -It's very difficult to push down the scroll button -I do not recommend getting this mouse unless you have a bluetooth computer because the receiver is absurdly large. The almost nonnoticable logitech ones are far superior; that said, if you do have bluetooth on your computer, that problem is immediately solved -The hard case for the mouse doesnt click shut all that well, although it's not terrible either -I don't know if it's just my computer, but I can't change the default scroll speed and it's irritating me very much. The scroll also acts funky in some windows Final synopsis: I recommend this product if you get it for less than $50.

As a mouse, this guy works pretty well. It's nice to people able to connect via Bluetooth and not keep a dongle hanging around. Sometimes the Bluetooth loses connection, especially as the batteries get older. My other wireless mice just quit working altogether once the batteries get too low. I prefer that behavior. The MS Presenter Mouse just seems like it's having trouble communicating. My cats also appreciate the built-in laser pointer. Where this mouse completely fails - and maybe it's not the mouse's fault - is that the presentation buttons don't work when PowerPoint (at least PP2003) is in "Presenter Mode". This is a mode where the the laptop screen displays your notes and the projector displays the slides. I could chalk this up to PowerPoint vs. the Mouse, but it's Microsoft making both products. And it doesn't help that I discovered this problem when I was starting to give a very important presentation in front of a large room of people.
