Wondering if you need the USB connector with the vga connector on a video projector? Not unless you have the remote control for the video projector. If you are like me and have to "checkout" a projector from your library... more than likely the remote is long gone. And then the cables come up missing and no one will take ownership. Buy the cheaper cable without the USB connection. It works great!
