I have a Quantum LTO-3 table top drive and the best tapes for it are these Quantum tapes. I usually order a pack of 5 just because they come in packs of 5 and I like the seller to ship a whole pack. I bought one from Amazon hoping that the same will happen but the warehouse guy decided to break the pack and fit the tapes into a smaller box. As these tapes are sensitive to impact, I was not very happy about it. Aside from my shipping concerns, the tapes deserve a 4 because they are not consistent. Anybody using tapes knows that a number of soft write errors (btw 1000-8000) is to be expected for each tape. These can have between 2000 and 8000 in the same pack of 5. The more abused the pack was, the more errors you get. Overall it is a good product but if you need technical support from Quantum, good help you.... They are next to useless and if after a week of troubleshooting they decide to replace your drive, you have to get in the line because the replacement drives are backordered. They don't seem to have a "business grade" replacement service which will help you restore your data the next day, because in business, most likely you might get fired if you don't....
